Ann Gaba, EdD, RD, CDN, CDCES


Current Position: Assistant Professor and Internship Director, City University of New York School of Public Health 

Dr. Gaba is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, NY State Certified Dietitian Nutritionist, Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist and Fellow of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She earned her doctoral degree at Teachers College, Columbia University. 

Dr. Gaba began her academic career at CUNY in 2008, transitioning to teaching nutrition and dietetics following eighteen years in clinical practice. She directs an ACEND-accredited dietetic internship.  Her research interests include nutrition and movement disorders, health communications, and nutrition education. 

Dr. Gaba has been a contributing author to the AND Nutrition Care Manual and the Academy Publication Communicating Nutrition – the Authoritative Guide, as well as patient and practitioner publications through the Huntington’s Disease Society of America. She has also authored multiple research publications in both clinical and educational domains.
